Long live rock! Long live vinyl! Long live community spirit!

Two of the Capital District’s finest bands team up for a vintage vinyl release. Saratoga’s The Figgs (Imago / Capital) and Albany’s Bloom (Paint Chip / IRS) have contributed previously unreleased songs to Paint Chip Records’ first ever split 7″ single. Both bands celebrate all that is right about rock-n-roll: passion, do-it-yourself work ethic, volume, and damn good tunes.

As The Figgs take time off to plan the recording of their second major label release and Bloom rides the wave of attention surrounding their standout cuts on IRS Records’ Six Sided Single, this 7″ gold vinyl split single is the only way to hear new music by these bands.

As with most Paint Chip Records releases this is stellar “Pop Without The Fluff.”
